This school, built in 1908, was located near the church of the same name. The founding school was built in 1871 and the teacher here shown standing in the doorway is Miss Bess COLEBANK. Miss COLEBANK abandoned teaching within a few years for wifehood and motherhood. In later life, now known as Bess COLEBANK MEINBERG KLEIN, she operated a creamery on Main Street immediately north of the Bob Evans Insurance Agency.
