The
New Brookville Public School

Having
outgrown the old College building, the town, in 1912, removed the ancient
building and replaced it with a modern structure shown in the above picture. This new building also served the
community as both primary and secondary schools until 1932.
In that year, the school administration, recognizing the overcrowding and the
antiquity of the gymnasium, proposed and built the new building which faced 11th
Street to the north of the old structure.
