Bath, Indiana

Taking its name from the Township in which it is located, Bath has always been a farming community. Located within three miles of the Ohio state line, the rich farmland of the area contributed to the area being settled when the township was young.  As farming was the primary occupation, it is not unusual that it did not grow a large business district. The C & O railroad runs through Bath, and at one time provided employment for some of the residents.
