Little is known of him at this point, his best known photo is of the Franklin County Court House used in Virgil Davis' book, Through Our Years, The Story of Brookville, 1808-1858. Despite the marking of "1864" on this photo, it was probably taken much later, possibly as late as 1877 according to John Newman.
